There are only two explanations, creationism or evolution.
This is the either-or fallacy. It’s like saying if A fails then B is correct. Even if evolution is completely wrong, that doesn’t make creationism correct. There could be other alternatives that have not been discovered yet. Problems for evolution are not evidence for creationism (and problems for creationism are not evidence for evolution). Creationism should stand regardless of evolution, by having facts and evidence on its side. Since creationism consists of little more than attacks against science it has no positive evidence of its own. Also once you allow the supernatural into science, science goes out the window. There can be no evidence for creationism because natural laws and the scientific method no longer apply in the world of the supernatural. You can’t get God to come down to the laboratory and submit to experiments.
