Is it possible for evolution to create the diversity of life? I don’t see how it could have happened. Surely it had to have had a creator?
This is called an argument from incredulity. Just because the individual making such a claim can’t conceive of or doesn’t know how evolution worked in this particular case, it doesn’t mean that no one does. Even if no one knows the answer, jumping to a supernatural explanation is not justified. What if someday someone finds the answer?
This can also be called the God of the gaps argument. Creationists use God to explain any unknown phenomena. God used to be used to explain things like the weather and diseases, but now we have natural explanations for these. People use God to explain the things we do not understand, and with more and more knowledge, the unknown continues to shrink.
