Creationism is nothing but religion dressed up as science. This is obvious just by browsing creationist literature or websites. The mission statement to Answers in Genesis, a creationist organization states:

To support the Church in fulfilling its commission.
Vision
Answers in Genesis is a catalyst to bring reformation by reclaiming the foundations of our faith which are found in the Bible, from the very first verse.
Mission - We proclaim the absolute truth and authority of the Bible with boldness.
- We relate the relevance of a literal Genesis to the church and the world today with creativity.
- We obey God’s call to deliver the message of the Gospel, individually and collectively. “
Answers in Genesis, Mission Statement
The Institute for Creation Research has a statement that must be adhered by all faculty members and researchers:
1. The Bible is the written word of God, and because we believe it to be inspired throughout, all of its assertions are historically and scientifically true in all the original autographs. To the students of nature, this means that the account of origins in Genesis is a factual presentation of simple historical truths.
2. All basic types of living things, including man, were made by direct creative acts of God during Creation Week as described in Genesis. Whatever biological changes have occurred since Creation have accomplished only changes within the original created kinds.
3. The great Flood described in Genesis, commonly referred to as the Noachian Deluge, was an historical event, worldwide in its extent and effect.
4. Finally, we are an organization of Christian men of science, who accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. The account of the special creation of Adam and Eve as one man and one woman, and their subsequent fall into sin, is the basis for our belief in the necessity of a Savior for all mankind. Science works by collecting new facts and seeing how they support or falsify current theories. Science collects facts, and sees what can be learned from them. Creationism already claims to have all the answers, in the form of the Bible, and only uses facts if they support their religious convictions. Creationism is based on the authority of the Bible, and to creationists no facts or evidence can ever undermine it.
