The fossil layer shows simpler creatures becoming more and more complex over time. A flood cannot explain this. Flood advocates will often claim that smaller creatures, like humans, floated to the top and larger creatures, like dinosaurs, sank to the bottom. The average size of dinosaurs was that of a station wagon. Many were very small, no larger than modern birds. Why don’t we find any of them at the top layer with humans? And why didn’t any of the flying reptiles fly to higher elevations to avoid the rising water? And what about the creatures that lived before the dinosaurs, many of them were smaller than the large dinosaur species. Why did the big dinosaurs float higher than them and they sank to a lower strata? There has never been any fossil find that contradicted evolution.
